Responsibilities for EM-MWD Consultant

• Ability to read plots and well plans.

• Programs Electro Magnetic MWD tool using Hyper-Terminal software.

• Making daily reports. (Proficient working with Microsoft Excel and Word.)

• Rig-up and tests MWD tool for accurate information before sending the tool down hole.

• Checks for inaccurate information received in the software transmitted from down hole.

• Checks for magnetic interferences that give false information with the azimuth, and inclination

• Trouble shots a variety of areas pertaining to signal, noise issues, on-site problems and any interference with signal that is being transmitted by the rig.

• Manages four hundred thousand dollars worth of equipment.

• Inventories all equipment and materials needed for an efficient, and effective job for the MWD, Directional Driller and the company contracting for our services.

• Checks continuity and resistance for Rig Floor Display lines, BNC lines, EM Transmitter, EM Battery Harnesses, EM Couplers and EM Antennas.

• Rebuilds cables and connectors for the use of antennas.

• Disassembles and rebuilds Lithium batteries for the Electro Magnetic tool.

Responsibilities for Engineering Technician

• WAQTC Certified for quality control and quality assurance of soil material in general construction

• OSCS Certified for inspecting soil and asphalt

• Laboratory testing include; analysis of soil samples; standard and modified proctor; atterberg and plastic limit 200wash/gradation and measuring moisture content of density levels.

• Field responsibilities include- field observation and testing, sight grading, utility backfill, sight work subgrade, nuclear moisture, density test and field soil sampling and making sure material placed is in general accordance with project specifications and on-site plans.

• Concrete testing- Includes taking field samples of concrete for air content, slump, temperature and unit weight. Laboratory testing also consists of curing and compressive strength test.

• Daily responsibilities include making daily reports and logging test results. ( proficient working with Microsoft Excel and Word.)

• Responsible for Quality Control and Assurance inspections over projects that are worth millions.

• Responsibilities include reading, delegating and executing specifications on project plans.

• Responsible for using a low Nuclear gage called the Troxrel. Which measures density and moisture content for soil and asphalt.

• Inspects Rebar’s for dimensions and spacing to project specifications which is essential for structural foundation.

• Ability to work well with others, initiative oriented, with the ability to work without direction and can take well to orders.

• Used to working long hours and team oriented.

Past Experience as a Merchant Marine

As a merchant marine working in the docks my responsibilities included; ensuring efficient fuel for ships during refueling; Being HAZWOP certified- (handling hazardous material); Line handling- splicing wire and fiber line; Piloting-tug boats; Watch standing during dry docking in Portland; Being highly involved in quarterly safety training courses; Docking ships; Operate communications equipment and lighting systems on ship; Ensure the operational effectiveness of facility systems, subsystem and equipment; Work with technical pumps and pressurized valves; Clean 250,000 gal of oil in the Delaware River.
