• Conducted material, welding procedure, and quality audits of the two Joint Venture Project contractors, Bechtel and Jacobs Engineering in Houston for the $7+ Billion Crude Expansion Project at Port Author, TX. Conducted field quality and safety audits at the four Module construction yards located in Brewer, Maine, Charleston, SC, Corpus Christi, TX, and Tampico, Mexico. (453 Modules weighing from 300 to 900 tons) Assisted Contractor’s quality teams in the development of ITPs and other relevant quality documentation. • Developed & implemented WQRs & WPSs for the Exxon -Diana Project (standing in 4,800 feet of water, it is the largest structure in the Gulf of Mexico). Worked with electrode manufactures to develop improved filler metallurgy for higher strength & impact plates. Developed filler metallurgy with -50 F / 82 ft/lbs Charpy. Evaluated all aspects of manufacturing & QC /QA endeavors in the brace shop, fab shop, deck building & the API Certified pipe mill, in order to ascertain the efficiency, quality & cost effectiveness of all applicable conditions. Recommended new equipment, QC witness & hold points, processes, material flow & personnel changes, which greatly enhanced the efficiency, quality & cost effectiveness of the facility. • Directly supervised more than 75 inspection personnel, on an international basis, and all the right-of-way (ROW) inspection for this $1.5 Billion Project; a 1,750-mile 30-inch pipeline crossing four states. (Largest Pipeline in the USA). Responsible for double joint & coating facilities at Corpus Christi, TX & Bakersville, CA; the unloading & shipping of more than 90 ship- & barge-loads of 30-inch diameter pipe in Texas & California. Responsible for the subsequent distribution of pipe to applicable Right of Way locations. Approved the development & implementation of RPs, WPSs & WQRs for the Projects Welder Testing, Certification & Line/ Facility welding. Supervised the inspection surveillance endeavor for the installation of Solar Turbine Pumping & Heating Equipment at 28 remote sites along the 1,750 mile ROW.
