Biodiesel Production from Pongamia (Karanja) Seeds & its Performance tests on 4-stroke Single Cylinder Diesel Engine
• Worked on Biodiesel Production from the Pongamia(Karanja) Seeds.
• Modified a Four stroke Single Cylinder Diesel Engine and tested various properties with different compositions of biodiesel with normal diesel. Shown better performance from B40 and B50 .
• Compared Biodiesel parameters with diesel norms.
• Less emission in Potentially harmful Hydrocarbons like NOx and Sulphuric oxide contents were observed.
