Responsible for pre-hospital medical management of acutely ill patients and trauma victims to include airway management, packaging of trauma patients and emergency medication administration. Fire service provided for the city of Kingsland, GA. to include suppression of structural, residential, commercial, industrial, chemical, petroleum, vehicle, and wildland fires; perform victim rescue. Operate a variety of apparatus, tools, devices, vehicles, emergency medical equipment and other rescue equipment. Conducts shift inspections of condition and readiness of equipment; clean, wash, and service equipment, inspect, test, and maintain equipment and pump motors including nozzles, appliances, fittings, hydrants, fire extinguishers, hand and power tools, ropes, emergency lighting equipment, generators, rescue and first aid and related equipment; flow-test hydrants. Drives and operate vehicles, apparatus, and equipment. Performs cleaning, salvage, and overhaul work following fires, prepare apparatus and equipment for further alarms. Participates in periodic testing of pumps, ladders, and other apparatus and equipment. Assists in securing sites by directing traffic, clearing public, clearing landing zones for helicopter landing.

Airway management including intubation and pulmonary ventilation.
