HISTORY:
12/10 – 03/11 Roel Construction, Inc.: GC Superintendent at the Sealife Aquarium in Grapevine, TX. Duties included directing temporary labor and assisting General Superintendent with coordination of all trades during underground, concrete placement and demo activities.
07/09 - 10/10 FaulknerUSA, Inc.: GC Superintendent Finishes & Project Management for the Alteza Condos above the Grand Hyatt downtown San Antonio. Worked closely with the owner to value engineer and revise existing condo floor plan layouts. My revision sketches were submitted to the interior designers and architects. Ensured plan revisions were approved and project plans were updated to create the material finish schedules. Each of the 174 condos was unique in material finishes, color and style. Coordinate all finish trades to exacting standards to complete the L25 – L35 condo plan revisions.
03/09 – 06/09 Berger Brothers, Inc.: Field Supervisor as Local UBC member #944 for field activities on the John L. Sinn Wing addition to the Eisenhower Hospital in Rancho Mirage, CA.
05/08 – 02/09 Roel Construction, Inc.: GC Superintendent Hotel Finishes at the Quechan Casino & Resort in Winterhaven, CA near Yuma, AZ. Constructed a two unit, w/ corridor hotel mockup offsite in Yuma. Coordinate placement of concrete in Winterhaven for the hotel portion of the project. Direct the survey and coordination of concrete and MEP systems with interior and exterior framing. Create finish schedules and matrices, QC Checklists, and site specific safety plans. Coordinated all finish trades. Worked with Quechan Tribal representatives to complete final punch and achieve Certificate of Occupancy surpassing cost and schedule goals.
02/07 – 05/08 Roel Construction, Inc.: GC Superintendent Hotel Finishes at the Agua Caliente Resort and Casino in Rancho Mirage, CA. Directed the 16 story hotel portion, interior and exterior finishes. Coordinate concrete placement & all MEP systems with slab and framed wall openings. Monitor and control all finish trades, created high end finish schedules and matrices. Coordinate design and install of all EIFs, curtain wall window systems and roofing systems. Worked with Agua Caliente Tribal representatives to complete final punch and achieve Certificate of Occupancy. By meeting schedule and achieving safety goals, Zurich returned over $2 million in TCIP premiums to owners.
12/02 – 01/07 Best Interiors, Inc.: Field Supervision & Project Management. Supervised (2) BEQ Rehabs 29 Palms Marine Base, Yeager Center CBU, Riverside and Presbyterian Hospital in Whittier, Ca. Re-assigned to Orange County office as PM. Led the creation & submittal of 16 CO’s, totaling $2.3 million for the Whittier Presbyterian Hospital.
