Employed by Oak Ridge Associated University and contracted to National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration as an electrical engineering technician. Responsibilities included: PCB design & Layout for new instrumentation, Outsource assembly and manufacturing of equipment, Electronic parts inventory and procurement, Write and maintain software (C++ Java), Calibration and certification of instrumentation, Power distribution and generation. Major achievements: Reduced cost of relay boards by 86%, Wrote software that reduced service time for technicians and improved reliability, Designed a system to electrical isolate a batch of SDI-12 sensors which improved data recovery rates,
