I am part accounts payable and part payroll clerk. My daily tasks include processing any
invoices that come in and voucher them for payment, posting leave requests that I receive from
employees. I also process employee reimbursements for travel and mileage expenses. I have several spreadsheets that need to be continuously updated. I assist the Accountant with preparing the weekly deposit and writing checks to pay some invoices. I help employees that come in with payroll questions or needing to turn in any payroll forms. I assist anyone else in the department who may need help, along with answering any incoming phone calls. I work with payroll deadlines when entering time sheets, and I process the accounts payable checks when they come in three times weekly. I work with the FIS system as well as the Leave system on line. I have certificates of attendance for Microsoft Excel levels 1,2, and 3, Word levels 1 and 2, and
