Responsibilities:

Weekly refresh of 11.5.10 environments and R12 environments on 10g databases using Rapid Clone.

Resolving Technical and functional issues in coordination with support.

Troubleshooting errors relating to Forms, Jserv, Apache, and Database.

Status Checks of Oracle Application Services

Coordination with Oracle Support for addressing Issues.

Applying patches on Production and test environments for fixing bugs in the application, performing patch analysis and preparing document before applying patches.

Using AD utilities like Adadmin, adctrl, admrgpch, adrelink, adpatch for maintaining and configuring oracle Application

Performing cloning from production to test instances and dev instances using Rapid Clone.

Applying the patches in development/test and in production using ad patch and manually.

Taking care of database object, tablespaces, and sessions in oracle applications.

Monitoring the backup schedules, archives etc. Backup taken by the backup team.

Development team request adding in production instance like report forms adding and giving the trace etc in development.

Also taking call from help desk and solving problem as end user log call to help desk.

Registered the Off-cycle products using AD splice during Patch process.

Perform overall health checks on the database at regular intervals to ensure smooth operation.

Verify backups for all databases and take corrective actions for failed backups.

Perform database recovery in the instance based on the Client business requirements.

Create, configure, size and maintain database systems to support applications following Change control process.

Manage and maintain database security and database configuration.

Respond to alerts and submit corrective actions as deemed necessary for change review.

Rectifying Database Locks , Runaway Processes.

Apply database patches and fixes as per Client requirements and vendor recommendations as assigned via Change Request.

Perform database copies (refresh) from one environment to the other and manage all related tasks.

Assume responsibility of all trouble tickets assigned to the Database group via the ticket tracking system, track and report all progress on the issue and details regarding the resolution in the system.
