- ConocoPhillips Alaska – Kuparuk Pipeline Extension Smart Pigging Project:
-- Lead Mechanical Engineer for Pig Launcher Module and Pig Receiver Module. Coordinate multiple engineers and designers to design the 18”x24” pigging barrels, associated piping, HVAC and other module items for the arctic environment. Perform or review: calculations, requisitions, scopes of work, drawings. Estimate and progress job including change management.
-- Generate hot tap tie-in packages to perform nineteen hot taps / stopples into 18” pipeline, including all supporting calculations.
-- Create pigging study from drawings and vendor data to identify potential pigging problems in existing portion of pipeline to be pigged.
- ConocoPhillips Alaska – Various Well Tie-in Projects:
--Lead all mechanical engineering tasks included in multiple well tie-in projects in the arctic environment from scoping of job to IFC issue. Perform field visits to assess project scopes.

Senior Mechanical Lead Engineer on the following projects:
- ATP and Bluewater Industries – Telemark Project: P&ID review and development. Generated Design Basis. Created specifications for pressure vessels, shell and tube heat exchangers, coatings, pedestal cranes.
- Arena – MP 236D/E Project: Reviewed and updated SAFE Charts. Reviewed and completed mechanical studies and Design Basis.
AMEC Paragon (Houston, Texas) February 2006 – December 2007
Project Engineer for BP Pipelines North America’s L.A. Basin Program of pipeline integrity management projects. Developed cost estimates, schedules, design bases and scopes of work. Contributed to cost risk assessments, schedule risk assessments, Hazids, constructability reviews, VIP sessions, IPA assessments, Alert-2 sessions.
Pipeline Engineer for BP Pipelines North America’s L.A. Basin Program. Wrote detailed LOTO Facility Release procedures for hydrotesting of clean products lines in urban environment. Developed specifications and drawings for pipeline modifications, including: alignment sheets, construction plans and potholing specifications. Performed numerous field visits to plan pipeline hydrotest and construction work.
Facilities Engineer on the following projects:
- Chevron and Samsung Heavy Industries – Takula Gas Processing Platform Project: Designed firewater system and deluge system. Developed material requisitions, datasheets, bid evaluations and purchase specifications for firewater, jockey and seawater lift pumps, electrochlorinator, chemical injection skid, specialty items, safety equipment, CO2 snuffing system and breathing air equipment. Researched and created predictive maintenance study. Developed P&ID’s, PFDs and Safety Equipment Location Plans.
- Fidelity E&P – Tabasco Project: Performed line sizing and checked P&ID’s for waterflood facilities upgrades.

- Mobil Producing Nigeria and Willbros – East Area Projects Retrofit and Revamp Project: Coordinated up to six engineers to generate and check more than 50 mechanical lists. Calculated sizes for various piping items. Developed and/or reviewed P&IDs, MTOs, isometrics and piping plans.
- ExxonMobil Development Company – Operadora Cerro Negro Central Production Facility Gas Separation and Relief Project: Sized firewater system, fire protection equipment and assorted specialty items. Created testing procedures of piping systems for turnover and completion packages.
- Anadarko Petroleum Corporation – Various coalbed methane projects: Produced pipeline routing drawings, PFDs and P&IDs. Calculated sizes for separators, scrubbers, pumps, PSVs, air compressor packages.
- BHP Billiton Petroleum Americas and Noble Energy Well Test Projects: Performed detailed manual calculations for numerous heat exchangers to evaluate and predict performance of proposed units.

Facilities Engineer on the following projects:
- ChevronTexaco and Cabinda Gulf Oil Company – Greater Takula Area Upgrades Projects: Conducted flare and vent studies. Performed sizing calculations for scrubbers, heaters, chemical injection package, firewater deluge system, process lines, and control valves. Developed company spreadsheet to calculate tank inbreathing and outbreathing per API 2000. Evaluated different level control technologies for tanks. Generated portions of specifications, studies and design bases. Some P&ID development.
- Pioneer Resources Gabon – Olowi Field Development: Conducted flare and vent study. Performed sizing calculations for separators, scrubbers, heat exchangers, skimmer, CPI, flotation unit, quarters building and process lines.
