Qualifications: I believe paying attention to detail is key while working in the United States Post Office because so many Americans are relying on you to receive their mail. With the last few jobs that I have had I believe I am totally capable of being successful in the USPS. While working at Crane Aerospace & Electronics all I do is pay attention to detail otherwise units will fail. In the United States Air Force you cannot afford to be careless while passing mission critical data, lives depend on it. Working at a gas station has its moments also, you have to keep an eye on the inside of the store for shoplifters as well as the outside for drive offs constantly.
Experience:
June 2007 – Present Crane Aerospace & Electronics, Fort Walton Beach, FL
Electronic Assembler
With the use of many different prints, drawings, schematics, tools, printed circuit boards, hardware and components varying in shapes and sizes I build units, modules and chassis. Extreme meticulosity is required while assembling due to the large number and minute size of components. Organization is critical and clear communication with technicians and engineers are of utmost importance.
June 2006 – May2007 Raceway, Gulf Breeze, FL
Management
My role at Raceway Gas Station was to train new employees, perform opening and closing procedures, fuel surveys, gas price changing, stocking of merchandise, maintaining a clean appearance of the store, salesclerk and staying on vigilant lookout for drive offs and shoplifters.
Nov. 2001 – Nov. 2005 United States Air Force
Satellite Wideband and Telemetry Systems
Deployed, operated and sustained ground and space based satellite, Beyond Line-of-Sight wideband communications, telemetry, and instrumentation systems. Performed installation, calibration, testing, operation, maintenance, repair of facilities, equipment, and related subsystems. Monitored, analyzed, and directed performance checks and measurements to ensure acceptable performance. Established and maintained communication links with distant terminals.
Education:
University of Maryland University College Europe
Information Systems Management (In progress)
I have acquired over 55 hours towards my associates degree while maintaining a GPA of 3.3.
Accomplishments:
• Troubleshot faulty frequency upconverter in mobile satellite communications terminal and isolated problem to a bad circuit card assembly and saved the unit over $105,000 in replacement cost.
• Deployed as a wideband equipment apprentice to Kirkuk, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and installed and maintained three pole- mounted microwave line-of-sight radios enabling connectivity to outside agencies delivering vital command and control and full-duplex voice circuits to Combined Air Operations Center.
• Received two spot-on awards for excellence by my supervisor while working with Crane Aerospace & Electronics.
