Assistant Director
As an A.D. for HHS, an outside contractor, I am responsible for managing and regulating the environmental services for the University of Mississippi Medical Center. These responsibilities include regulating the training programs provided for new and existing personnel to make sure they meet all environmental standards required by the Hospital and the EPA. I also make daily inspection of all areas, while at the same time maintaining the quality control program through these inspections. In addition, I regulate the scheduling of the hourly staff and handle the requisition of supplies, making sure we keep things within budget.

As a managing owner for the last five years, my responsibilities included overseeing all operational aspects of the business including budget planning, forecasting, bookkeeping, inventory, sales, and delivery/installation scheduling for two independent Sears Dealer stores in the Jackson Metro Area. The Ridgeland location received the award for highest average ticket in the district two years running and was in the top 25 in the nation. Also, the Brandon site was awarded for the highest sales volume in 2010. Duties included the management of customer accounts that generated revenue for A.C.S in the range of $10 million annually. In the Regulation of the management team within the Storage and Protection Division as well as the Prints and Retrieval Division at the Record Center, I was able to increase the annual revenue by over 20% two years running. Revenue Officer
As an officer of the state of Mississippi, I worked in tax collection for all Sales, Use, Withholding, and Income taxes in Desoto County, Mississippi. Also, followed up with all building contractors, residential and commercial, to insure they were in compliance with all state regulations. Served any warrants issued by the state in order to collect any outstanding funds owed to the state. Working closely with the Audit Department within the Tax Commission, I was able to dramatically reduce the number of delinquent taxpayers, in my assigned area, by over 40% during my short time with the Commission.
