CAREER SUMMARY
VP Operations - Selig Sealing Products, 2004 to 2009.
Directed all manufacturing-related operations, including
production control, scheduling, warehousing, shipping and
receiving, traffic, maintenance and engineering for this
producer of sealing systems and package liner materials for
consumer products companies. Introduced JIT, achieving 98.5%
on-time, full shipment delivery with virtually zero
remaining inventory. Cut freight costs from $.40 to $.05/lb.
Returned $8 EDITDA per $1 of labor. Created operations
structure that helped drive $35M company to $143M.
Controlled $30M operating and $15M capital expenditure
budgets. Led team of 90.
Global Director Production Control and Logistics - Delphi
Automotive Systems, 1999 to 2004. Integrated scheduling,
receiving and distribution into unified global production
control and material flow management system for $2.8B
division. Controlled $211M in inventory and $60M budget
covering 40 company-owned and contract production facilities
worldwide. Cut headcount 21% while boosting productivity.
Reduced inventory $48M.
Internal Consultant - 3M Corporation, 1998 to 1999. Earned
assignment to corporate position created to transform
corporate manufacturing and supply chain across 24 divisions
and over 50 business units. Closely aligned business
execution with strategy. Implemented Six Sigma and Lean-
based Continuous Improvement initiatives.
