EMPLOYMENT

(2002-2008) Caparo Vehicle Components Novi MI -shift superintendent/Team leader/Die setter

Duties:

- Ensure that all employees are equipped with the proper Personal Protective Equipment.

- Adjust manpower to obtain all work orders efficiently.

- Report, document and follow up all potential safety issues in order to prevent future

incidents.

- Assist / lead and trouble shooting on shop floor with regards to production and

Quality.

- Ensure that the shop floor is “hospital clean.”

- Create Standard Work Instruction to help make process’s operator friendly.

- Meet with other staff members to discuss and prevent safety, quality, delivery, cost and moral issues.

- Over see edit and verify all employees hours working under my supervision using a

Program called Timeforce.

- Help maintain and build employees morale.

- Efficiently install cutting and forming dies in presses ranging from 10 to 1200 tons.

- Use Hilo or crane to safely place dies on the bolster plate.

- Check finished parts to fixture or use calipers or micrometers to ensure quality.

Duties:

- Worked as hands on leader/ die setter

- Placing dies in presses with a Hilo and using proper clamping methods to safely secure it.

- Responsible for having press lines ready for the next job (staging dies and fixtures for the

next setup).

-Use quality sheets, fixtures, micrometers and calipers to ensure first piece is conforming.

- Ensured efficient production of our press lines as well as helped to facilitate a safe work

environment.

- Follow up with tooling to be sure proper maintenance to the tool is complete for the next run.
