-Vascular studies : Carotid Series, Venous/Arterial - Upper and Lower extremities.

-Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, terminology, Congenital Heart Pathology, Fetal and Neonatal circulation and Embryology.

-U/S Machines: Acuson Sequoia 512 and 128, Hp 5500, Phillips 7500 and IU22, GE Vivid I, 6, 7.

-Ability to work well with others, dependable, honest, pleasant and professional.

-Good organizational and communication skills (written and oral). Fluent in Navajo.

-General computer knowledge: Microsoft Windows XP, Lytec Medical, Word.

-MEDICAL ASSISTING SKILSS: Ability to assist physicians with exams and treatments and to use autoclave, EKG machine, phlebotomy, suture removal, vitals, UA, injections for immunizations and allergies, B12 PPD, Triage, PE‘s, aseptic technique, sterile tray setup, specimen collections and handling. Filing, charting, minor surgeries involving skin lesions, cysts, biopsies, excisions and shavings, Eye lavage, Pap smears, pre-ops, SVN treatments, and establishing referrals and obtain prior auths, acupuncture, EMS/ISO chiropractic treatments, massage, ICD-9/CPT Coding, AP/AR collections, and process billing.

Plus OT Adult and Pediatric Echosonographer - Fulfilled a 60 day contract with IHS and the Native American Cardiology Program. Performed Adult and Pediatric Echoes routine and in ICU bedside, using 2-D, M-Mode, CW/PW and Color Flow Doppler. Escorted patient to rooms and prepped pt for echo. Educated pt regarding the ultrasound test. Worked with Pediatric Cardiologist from Flagstaff, Arizona to follow up on children with Congenital Heart Defects. Performed emergency echoes as needed. Processed reports and studies using Ultralink, staying late hours to make sure urgent echoes got read and sent to proper Cardiologist for final echo reading. Worked with EHR and RPMS system to retrieve and forward new consults and worked with Radiology Dept to schedule patients. Cleaned and maintained Ultrasound equipment.
