While working at KinderCare I’m mainly responsible for the well being of the children. I’m accountable for their happiness and their parents as well. I answer phones, take messages, schedule tours and give out center information such as prices and policies. I keep a positive attitude with respect, honesty, and confidence to inspire a safe and comfortable environment for my co-workers and the children I care for.

While working at La Petite I was responsible for giving the children a fun and exciting learning atmosphere. I planned and implemented various learning activities and really built on my team building skills while working with my co-teacher to make sure the children had the best opportunities to learn. While working at Wisconsin Youth Company I was responsible for managing site operations within the policies and procedures of AFTER SCHOOL. I worked with a larger variety of children, ages 6-14. I was also responsible for meeting deadlines by accurately completing paperwork such as assessments, accident reports, behavioral logs, time sheets, budgets and newsletters. I had to be self-motivated and disciplined when it came to program planning and execution. I was responsible for keeping staff members and community directors informed and provided the support needed for staff to succeed and I was the liaison between the program site and the administrative office.

While working at Small wonders I had the chance to work with all children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. I got the opportunity to build trusting relationships with many of the families and really built on my communication skills. While planning and implementing lesson plans I often used internet explorer and Microsoft Word to aid me in my program planning. I was also able to build on my organizational and management skills as I was next in command when management was out of the building.
