Preparing & Reviewing of Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) with relevant Qualified PQR for the particular projects as per ASME section IX, API 1104, AWS D1.1, and ASME B31.3.

Performing Welder Qualification Test (WQT) for various welding procedure specifications as per ASME section IX, API 1104, AWS D1.1, and ASME B31.3.

Witnessing of Procedure Qualification Record(PQR)

Familiar with welding and cutting process such as SMAW,GTAW,GMAW,FCAW, SAW,OAW and Air carbon Arc cutting respectively

Carrying out the welding inspection Before, During and After welding operation as per approved test plan, relevant engineering drawing, international standard and project specification

Familiar with Construction Drawings such as Process and Instrumentation drawing (P&ID), Piping Isometrics, Structural drawing and General arrangement drawing (GAD).

Work in accordance with Inspection Test Plan (ITP), Such as Monitoring welding, NDE Activities, Mechanical activities, Material Inspection and related documentation.

Ensure that all materials delivery is as per project specifications or as approved by client specification.

Monitoring the Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) and chart check Minimum Preheat and Min & Maximum Inter-pass Temperature.

Witness, evaluation and interpretation of NDE Techniques like RT, UT, MT and PT. Co-ordinate with NDE personnel and making arrangement to complete the job in time.

Radiographic film review, interpretation and preparation of reports as per API 1104, AWS D1.1, ASME B31.3 with relevant project specifications

Documentation and recording of all testing activities, daily welding reports, weld repair rate, welders performance etc.
