Office Management and Organization – Short term consulting contract to organize, coordinate and manage the oil and gas acquisitions department, pulling client out of chronic years of high turnover and subsequent poor performance to establish organization in the office and negotiated over $3 million in acquisitions and sales.
Corporate Training and Event Management – For over three years responsible for developing and planning the annual ERCOT Region Operations Training Seminar (OTS), a week long seminar that runs for seven consecutive weeks and is responsible for giving needed NERC Continuing Education Hours (CEH) to over 650 operators. Certified the OTS with NERC to make the program eligible for CEH’s, created the exam, administered the exam via iClicker technology, graded the exams, and assigned all exam scores to participants through NERC’s SOCCED system. Increased revenue, efficiency, quality of metrics and reduced number of employees needed to oversee the OTS from 11 to myself and 2 temps (during the event only) by implementing acceptance of credit cards through Google checkout as well as the use of iClickers for exam taking and receiving feedback from the audience. Oversaw contract negotiations and coordination of all the events details from inception to completion, developed curriculum, organized train the trainers programs, and recruited and worked one on one with the presenters to assure the highest quality presentations. Responsible for developing all print materials and press releases in conjunction with the OTS.
Effective Outreach - Experience using the systematic approach to training and Bloom’s taxonomy when designing, developing, implementing, evaluating and coordinating the Texas RE’s bi-annual Standards and Compliance Workshop for 250+ attendees and other training in response to the market’s needs (CIP Workshops, Portal Training, etc.).
Stakeholder Edification - Created and regularly developed and issued the “Texas REview”, the Texas RE’s bi-monthly newsletter with over 800 recipients throughout the ERCOT ISO region.
