Beginning my work at Olan Mills I was hired as a Regional Marketing Manager. The areas which I was responsible for spanned from North to South Carolina. Being a Regional Marketing Manager consisted of not only managing my team but being the role model in sales. I managed a team of sales representatives in 7 stores. Accounting and Payroll was also my responsibility not only for my own sales, but the sales representatives working under me.

However, photography is my true passion and after working as a marketing manager they gave me the position of Studio Manager in Pineville NC. I was the manager during the busiest season (christmas), and brought sales up over 200% some weeks. Photography, sales, cleaning the studio, timesheets, and accounting were part of my duties as a Studio Manager. While a manager I was also awarded the #1 customer service representative in my district for 2008, as well as my certified professional photographer's Associate Photographers award.

Before going to Wingate University I had also completed many basic college courses in high school. I have enough credits for 2 and a half years. The only reason I didn't finish my degree, yet, is because my husband and I decided to move to Canada (his home). I have since been accepted into UNCC and plan to start courses this fall.
