Project Title Online Bus-Ticket Booking System

Description This application is used by the users to book online bus tickets using a web interface. The user needs to register to avail this facility. UI displays the various routes and buses available on the routes. If the user wishes to go with the booking then an option of logging to the system is provided.

An admin screen is provided to the administrator to manage the passenger details, addition of new routes and new bus details.

Project Title Employee Leave Application Approval Process

Customer TCS Internal

Period July’10 – August’10

Description This project focuses on the leave approval process within an organization.

1. Associate/Employee checks for leave balance and submits request for leave.

2. Request is forwarded to supervisor/manager who approves/rejects the leave.

3. On approval/rejection the associate is notified of the leave status.

4. If manager does nothing even after getting the task for 2 days, periodic Email notifications should be sent, reminding about the leave approval activity

5. If the applied leave is of type Sick Leave or Casual Leave and if leave days <= 2, then the leave should be auto-approved. It should not require manager’s approval for the same. Leave approved message should be displayed to associate.

6. Display the message about the auto-leave approval process along with the number of days on the leave application form always. Administrator can change auto-approved number of days limit at run time, which will cause the work-flow to fetch the new values and execute the work-flow accordingly. Any kind of application development changes should not be required

7. Manager can also send the leave request back to the associate asking for the more justification about the request. When Manager sends back the request, associate should get this message displayed on the leave application form

Project PNC Arch & Eng OFF EAI App

Description PNC Bank became the 5th largest bank in the US through the acquisition of National City. TCS is currently engaged in building the Retail Modeling Repository. TCS Risk management Basel II consultant also engaged in the program to help PNC in Financial Solution Architecture and Program planning.

Project main goal is to provide the integration Solution involving the wM’s in PNC to integrate the number of applications like NHO, JPMSurpass.

Role / Responsibilities Production Support Executive::

1. Responsible for wM’s internal team support, coordination between onsite and offshore teams.

2. Involving in bug fixing and enhancement.

3. Responsible for data mapping with the flow language.

4. Implementing the secure transmission with the client and server certificates, public and private keys both.

5. Installing fixes/patches .

6. Involved in decommissioning the packages.

7. Created groups on ACL and experienced with added some properties under config file.

8. Experience with updating the data in Share point site.

9. Monitor the integration Servers using the PNC utility called HealthMonPortal.

10. Internally for client, generating the Monthly Hits report for the top level services at the PNC servers.

11. Installation of product wM task engine into the wM Integrating server version 7.x in Unix OS.

12. By monitoring the log task to find out the errors as a part of support and generating the daily wM report on error logs for all IS.

13. Created JDBC Adapter connections on wM Administrator to create connections on the server.

Project Apple B2B OFF EDI App

Project main goal is to maintain the business tradings between Apple and their partners by exchanging the files between them(inbound and outbound) through a middleware tool called webMethods.

Worked for EMEA/ASAIPAC/US region.

Role/ Resposibilty Solution Developer ::

1. Experience with WebMethods Trading Networks for created partner profiles/document Types/Processing Rules/Agreements in TN to persist the data and route the documents to specific locations.

2. Involved in fixing the bug on transactions.

3. Involved in creating mapping documents .

4. Involved in performing regression test (Regression test tool is an apple internal tool used for doing regression test on maps which gives result for each partner as successful / contain error / No transaction found).

5. Involved in doing the regression test manually also.

6. Defined document types/attributes/queries to identify documents and extract attribute values, namespace mappings that Trading Networks uses to identify the type of inbound documents and performs necessary action.

7. Experienced with skills in the webMethods mapping area using Flat File Layouts, EDI Transactions - X. 855,865, 856, 840, 810 and 997

8. Experience with SAP few GUIs (screens ), used in project.
