This company was co-created to build a contract with Morris Medical Care Center and to satisfy requirements of practicing from my home. The contract with MMCC was from Oct 2011 – Feb 2012, no longer in tact. I provided massage therapy under a D.C. and M.D. in the combined effort of pain reduction and rehabilitation.

This was a specialized position where I facilitated the inspection and redistribution of defective furniture. On a weekly basis I performed clinics with a variety of vendor representatives on the behalf of Macy's. After inspections were complete, negotiations were made about how Macy's would be refunded for defective pieces. Then in the weeks following my team and I would arrange for different liquidators to come to the facility and pick up the merchandise. In my time there I was awarded the “Macy’s All Star Award” out of approximately 100 other associates. As well as being recognized several times in their “employee of the quarter program”.

Cortiva Institute is a leader in the field of massage therapy and has provided me an excellent education. After graduating with honors this past fall and passing the national board, I received my license in Dec 2011. Upon finishing the 15 month program at Cortiva I have completed 750 hours of training, which presently exceeds state requirements. I have completed modality courses in Myofascial, Sports Massage, PNF, Trigger/ Tender Point, and I am certified in Swedish.
