Summary Responsibilities have included: Design and layout of books at Kennel Clubs Books and BowTie Press. Scanning and color correction of all digital images. Prepared files for printing using FlightCheck.

Software skills include: Extensive knowledge of Photoshop, Quark, Illustrator and InDesign using Creative Suite. Operate Scitex EverSmart Pro scanner. Experience in MAC and Windows platforms.

Accomplishments

Completed Web Designer Certificate Program at Ocean County Community

College, Toms River, NJ in December, 2010.

Special projects including:

• Puppy’s First Christmas started as a Photo Contest with BowTie Press where hundreds of magazine readers submitted their favorite photos. From the contest entries to the final design stages I was responsible for the completed book.

• Dogs ‘N Stuff, from concept to completed book, this book started with overseeing the photographing of over a hundred dogs in many unique settings through the design stages in creating the colorful and fanciful pages within.

• The Benjamin Franklin Award winning book Dog Heroes of September 11th. I was responsible for all of the digital images in the book, including scanning and color correcting.

Books completed include recently published: The Dog Bible, Pets Gone Green, The Marc Marone Petkeeper Series, and Dogs, The First 125 Years of the American Kennel Club.

Digital Prepress Specialist, Designer and Scanner. Responsible for layout and design of books, as well as all of the scanning and color correcting the digital images used in the books. Comprehensive Owner’s Guides were the primary book series. Other special titles included: Rescue Me, Enjoying Dog Agility, Mysteries of Breed Type and Best In Show.
