Managing multiple construction projects for existing stores throughout the South East. Responsible for scope of work, bid process, scheduling, budgeting and contract negotiation. Company made cutbacks for all employees having less than two years with the company.
Acted as construction manager for Special Projects – GA division and put in charge of Dallas/Ft Worth area for final completion. Successfully completed tank upgrades at 71 stations in Georgia and 26 in the Dallas / Ft Worth area. Each site was scheduled for a five day completion. Utilizing JIS (just-in-sequence) practices to maximize production in a limited space enabled fuel sales at 60% during the construction process. All but four stores were completed in four days. This enabled stations to run 100% fuel sales a day earlier which decreased loss to operations. Required the simultaneous coordination of multiple contractors, delivery and inventory of parts and equipment totaling 900+ per site, scheduling pump outs and refueling of in ground tanks with a 30 minute window, testing and inspection through state environmental agencies.

Management responsibility of 40,000 sq ft. logistics warehouse facility. Daily and quarterly maintenance of P&L, payroll, drive teams, dispatch, and HR functions. Increased revenue through the addition of 5 national accounts.
Location received and delivered 600+ units per week. Hackbarth purchased a local courier company which was brought in under my management. Using the Five Focus Steps of TOC (theories of constraints) implemented a program to combine our general purpose warehouse team and the on demand team to reduce costs, adding contract drivers and increased profit per area of storage space. Acted as a 3PL for Choice Logistics, UPS Logistics, Dynamex, BNSF, and others. Shipped 1500+ units per week and maintained a working inventory of 15,000 units. Regularly posted 99% accuracy through agent audits.

Responsible for growing new accounts and maintaining national accounts in South Metro Atlanta and East Alabama. Acted as design and installation consultant. Due to the buyout of the majority of truss plants by HD Supply, the company moved the GA division to Lavergne, TN. It was not feasible for me to relocate with the company.
Acquired national accounts to provide pre-engineered building systems to David Weekly Homes, Beazer Homes and DR Horton Homes. This generated production of 21 houses per week with an average monthly revenue of $61,000.
