OBJECTIVE:

Based on my experience and exposure in the last 31 years in the coating industry, I want to advance my Industrial and Marine coatings career with an industry leader offering the opportunity for increased responsibilities, challenges and compensation. IIF (Incident & Injury Free)

As a Chevron contractor I was introduced to their safety program noted as incident and injury free. I learned that it is certainly the most valuable tool to inherit and solicit with the general contractors to realize the safest possible workplace. I learned that the most positive impact to the people is to recognize and credit the individual or teams for completion of a task done to the safest way possible, the purpose is to listen and understand and to inspire others to be there best in a work environment. I also learned IIF is a great foundation to establish relationships as to what really matters most in our lives.

EXPERIENCE:

Extensive experience in corrosion maintenance of New or Old Offshore Structures, Pipeline, Petro-Chem, Gas Plants, Marine Yards, Fabrication yards, Deep Water Spars, Semi-Submersible, FPSO and Jack up Rigs.

Use of numerous inspections and testing equipment.

Overseeing the mixing and application of numerous industrial and marine paint products, including Fire proofing materials and Insulation (Hot & Cold),Thermal Spray Aluminum, Fusion bond epoxies (FBE), 100% solid epoxies.

Offshore and Onshore surveys and generate scope of works and work packs.

Documentation cost tracking, coordinating and directing sub-contractors.

Able to work from ISO’s, governing specification standards, generated punch list items, general SSPC and NACE ASTM standards.

Language: English, Spanish (Fluently read and write)

Computer Experience: Office, word, excel, power point.

Certifications: NACE # 21897 (National Association Corrosion Engineers)

SSPC (Structural Steel Painting Council) Water Survival, PEC.

Travel: Yes, will relocate domestically and International or rotational.

Duties: Perform coating and blasting inspections including visual of structural and mechanical inspections, conduct inspections of all fire proofing and insulation, and generate daily/weekly QC reports.

Project: Topside Deepwater Spars for Murphy Oil Corp and Dominion EP. (Onshore)

Duties: Performed all blasting and coating inspections including fire proof inspections, assisted general contractor and sub-contractors with onsite technical solutions, worked closely with structural and piping inspectors, performed on site evaluations on all received coated equipment from different vendors including some required destructive testing, generated daily QC reports.

Project: Fixed Offshore Structures for Unocal 76 (Offshore GOM)

Duties: Performed a survey package that included total cost and materials for corrosion maintenance for Unocal 76 on 5- eight piled fixed offshore platforms, performed all blasting and coating inspections, managed all materials, invoices, crew changes and dealt with all associated vendors and contractors, performed on site coating technical solutions, generated quality control reports, tracked and maintained all daily cost.
