Resume:

Objective: I am applying for the position of Truck Driver. I have two certificates of completion of a Truck Driving Course through St. Cloud Technical College. One of these certificates certifies that I did complete a required amount of night-time driving.Immediately after completing this course I obtained a Class A driver's license, which is still current and up to date. I would like you to know that I am willing to train with another driver if needed or preferred, as well as complete any additional training through your company if preferred. I am also willing to obtain any and all endorsements if needed or preferred. I am willing and able to relocate for this job position. Aside from any skills related to this specific job, I would like it to be noted that I am dedicated and a very hard-worker. I hate to be late or miss any days of work. I learn in a way that's very hands-on, therefore I am not afraid to try new things and get my hands dirty. Experience: 10/2005-10/2008 Bang Printing Brainerd, MN In my position at this company I was responsible for putting a protective coating onto book covers. To do this I needed to know how to control machine temperatures. I was responsible for replacing and resetting knives according to the required length set for each job I was doing.I was in charge of checking for color consistency throughout the entire process. I was required to load and unload my machine for each job. I was also required to produce a final sheet count for each job ran, according to it's set required amount. Occasionally, I would also have to perform minimal maintenance on my machine. This included such tasks as taking out small and often very hot parts to be cleaned. This sometimes meant chemically cleaning those parts. On occasion I would also need to oil and/or grease parts of the machine. 9/2003-8/2004 Ike's Drywall Pequot Lakes, MN Self Contracted Sheet-rocker While working for this company I was a general laborer hanging sheets of drywall in newly built homes and businesses. I was responsible for cutting and measuring the drywall. I would also need to hang up and nail/screw in drywall sheets. When necessary in taller buildings where scaffolding was set up, I was responsible for handing up materials and tools needed to other workers who were higher up. On certain occasions I myself would also have to climb up and hang sheets of drywall while up on the scaffolding. 5/1998-9/2002 Lakes Area Lawn Service Baxter, MN Assistant As an assistant to the owner of this company I was responsible for the loading and unloading of our equipment. Together we were responsible for such services as lawn mowing, leaf blowing, hedge trimming, tree and brush removal and sometimes other decorative landscaping. This might be something such as filling in rock-beds and garden areas. In the winter season we would also often do general snow removal in customers yards, and possibly remove snow from their roofs as well. Related Coursework I currently possess two certificates of completion of the Commercial Driving Course through St. Cloud Technical College, here in Minnesota. Trough this course I logged an, undetermined at this time, amount of driving experience by driving throughout the city. I learned valuable skills such as how to log my number of miles and hours driven. Licenses I have earned a Commercial Driver's License, Class A. This was issued through the state of Minnesota, where it is already standard to have your air-brake endorsement.
