DISTRIBUTION CENTER MANAGER (2007 - Present)

VALSPAR CORP. Sacramento, CA (Chemicals)

Delivers exceptional results managing, planning and executing operations at a fast paced multi-entity production, packaging, sales, transportation, IT and supply chain distribution program supporting annual sales of more than $100 million.

Oversee approximately 800,000 square feet of production, sales, warehouse, packaging, inventory and two 3PL distribution facilities (including bulk, conveyer, order fulfillment, pick & pack and sortation systems). Multiple locations including 22 drivers and road equipment.

Implements customer service standards and co-ordinate sales team strategies across the region. Planned and set up new Distribution Warehouse, Administration, Sales and Production Facility along with logistics for 22 delivery drivers.

Introduced statistical inventory controls to improve inventory accuracy, achieve timely raw material deliveries, and reduce incoming freight costs 12%, a $120,000 savings.
