AmericaReads Tutor (2009 2012)

• 2009 2010: Worked with a kindergarten class at P.S. 30 in Yonkers. Duties included reading to kids and facilitating free time.

• 2010 Present: Worked at Highview School in Hartsdale with a 2nd grade class. Worked with students one on one with reading and math skills. Worked with them in writing and other works. Some filing and clerical work as well, grading papers.

Research Services at The Paley Center (September 2011 December 2011)

• Internship at the Paley Center in Fall 2011. Self-directed work cataloguing pieces from five different newspapers involved.

Andrea’s Pastry Shop (2008 Present)

• Part time work at a bakery storefront.

• Responsibilities include taking orders and making sure the store is tidy. Occasionally I get to decorate a cake.

• Sarah Lawrence College’s biweekly newspaper puts out an issue every two weeks focusing primarily campus events.

• Produced at least one biweekly article an issue for the features/new editor.

• Responsibilities include making sure supplies were stocked (needles and yarn) and assisting members with patterns and basic skills.

• Managed a set of writers for my section making sure their articles came in on deadline

Board of Trustees Mentorship Program

• Offered to seniors pairing them with members of the Board of Trustees. Many applications received, only a few are selected.

Overnight Host for Prospective Students

• Provided her services as an overnight host for prospective students. This included showing them around the cafeteria and answering questions they may have about Sarah Lawrence.
