Food Prep Skills
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist
• Coordinates and prepares meals within guidelines of menu, dietary requirements
• Cut, trimmed, and boned meat; cleaned and prepared vegetables and fruit
• Skilled in the following areas broiling, frying, fine dining, high volume, French cuisine, contemporary, and fusion
• Seven plus years of barbeque and grilling experience
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned station by proper care, cleaning and storage of equipment and utensils
• Portion and wrap the food, or place it directly on plates for service to patrons
Catering Skills
• Create menus and cook meals for various church events, holiday events, private parties, and fundraisers
• Responsible for setting schedule, preparing kitchen tools and equipment, shopping for items, storing, delivering and preparing menu
• Slice, grind, and cook meats, fruits, vegetables, and grains using a full range of cooking methods.
