Was directly responsible for smooth operation of all sections of olefin plant

through DCS and supervision of field activities. Also exhibited leadership

roles in shut-downs and safety related projects.

Job description:

1.Furnace operation, monitoring and maintenance activities.

Checking coil healthiness and planning furnace shutdowns.

2.Handled Furnace, Cracked gas compressor, Refrigeration,

Cryogenic & fractionation sections

3.Understanding of PFD and P&ID and Safe operating procedures

4.Handled emergencies: power failure, trips, quench water failure

& PLC failure.

5.Worked in planning and execution DE-BOTTLENECKING of the plant to

increase capacity from 300KTA to 400KTA ethylene and 60 KTA to

6. Responsible for safe shutdown and start-up of Cryogenic section,

ethylene & propylene compressors.

7.Made new operating manuals after the plant expansion projects during shut-downs.

8.Led the team of CASHE (Change agents of Health safety and environment).

Organized training workshops to create awareness of safety and health among

field operators.

9.Familiar with principles of Process Safety Management,

Process Hazard analysis, ISO & OSHAS

10.Basic knowledge and experience in simulation using ASPEN, HYSYS,
