QUALIFICATIONS
I am skilled in the following software applications; Ross Overdrive, Final Cut
Pro, Avid Newscutter and Express, iNews, Cool Edit Pro, Adobe Photoshop
and Microsoft office Products. I have experience running a variety of
studio and ENG cameras. I am skilled in the operation of the Grass Valley
200 and Zodiak production switcher, Wheatstone SP-8 and most Mackie
audio consoles.

May 2003-Present Director, WZTV-WUXP-WNAB
In May 2003, I started as a Production Assistant. I have operated
prompter, studio camera, CG, iNews, production switcher and
audio.
In August 2004, I was promoted to a full-time position as a
Promotion Producer. I was responsible for writing, shooting and
editing creative promos for specials and show marathons. I also
edited and post radio spots during sweeps periods.
In June 2007 when I was promoted to Director of Tennessee
Mornings. I oversaw a crew of six people, built technical
rundowns for the crew, selected music for the show and
directed the show.
In October 2010, I was re-assigned to the news department as a
Videographer/Editor. I shot video for stories, edited packages,
ran microwave remote trucks and maintained my equipment.
In April 2011, I was promoted to Director of “FOX17 News At
Nine”. My responsibilities include assigning camera shots,
building a crew rundown in iNews, and making good on-air
decisions when there are unexpected issues with equipment or
videos. I manage a crew of six people in the absence of the
Senior Director. I also help manage the studio by keeping it
clean and orderly, replacing lamps, etc.
As of September 2011, I have been re-assigned to the News
Department as a Videographer/Editor
I also am the Producer/Director for the local portions of the
“Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon”. I shoot and edit all the VO
and packages that air in those portions. I also served as
Assistant Director for Thursday night Lights in 2010, where I served
as liaison to the station and keep track of break times, sponsor
elements and etc. as assigned by the Director. I also produce a
Sunday night sports talk show called, “The Sports Zone”.
June 2000-July 2009 Video Engineer, Northeast Church
I oversaw all the video operations in the church. I designed,
purchased, installed and setup a 3 camera, 3 computer
playbacks, 3 projectors and Grass Valley 200 switcher video
system. I was responsible for four feeds (clean, line cut, internet
feed and closed circuit feed). I also did some ENG style drama
video shooting and editing using Final Cut Pro Studio. I was also
responsible for all the maintenance.

I started as a tester, my responsibilities were to take consumer
electronic items (phones, radios, cameras) and test them for
functionality, inventory all accessories and box for eBay auction.
I was then promoted to page builder where I was responsible
for building the HTML pages to post on eBay to sell the lots. I was
then promoted to the Sams Auction team. My new
responsibilities were to photograph items in the photo studio,
edit the photos, then research and build web pages to sell the
items on Sams Club Auctions.
