I am the infection control nurse as well as the MDS Coordinator for my unit. I complete all State required OBRA assessments, and conduct Care Plan conferences. I complete LTCMI’s and attach them to designated MDS’S, and advocate for medical necessity of my clients as needed. I perform all competency testing for my designated staff, as well as employee and resident immunizations.
