North American Mission Board appointed Evangelist/Campus Ministry Director
at University of Alaska Fairbanks. Responsible for: evangelism and discipleship;
developing small group ministry; developing servant leaders; leading worship services and
Bible studies; planning and leading conferences, retreats and mission trips for young adults; leading community and International mission projects; budgeting; program planning and evaluation; promoting responsible church membership.
Left when NAMB ceased funding all campus ministry positions.
2000-2002
NAMB appointed Church Planter/Pastor Kotzebue First Baptist Church.
Led congregation to focus on developing evangelistic and social ministries to the village;
developed Constitution and By-Laws for church; integrated Eskimo families into “white, professional” church to better reflect the community; increased support to Cooperative
Funding Program and missions; supervised mission pastors in five villages; counseling

Developed leadership team and worship team; led students to greater involvement in
missions and local churches; increased program funding; planned and evaluated programs; initiated weekly campus prayer times involving five Christian groups.
