Carried out operational aspects of multiple design build commercial construction including light-industrial, medical and condominium projects. Responsible for buy-out, contract administration, material expediting, tenant finish, warranty and permits. Customers included UPS and Wingate Hotel.

Provided quantity take-offs and costing estimates from conceptual plans, design and contract documents. Projects have included Ford and BMW dealerships, University of South Carolina Arena, and Crystal River Assisted Living Facility.

Office Engineer / Field Inspector, Arcadis Geraghty and Miller, Atlanta, GA. 1994 - 1999

Construction management for the Cobb County DOT one percent sales tax roadway improvement program. On-site inspector of county roadway, bridge, water and sewer construction. Handled citizen complaints dealing with road repair, easements and right of way issues. Office Engineer duties included bid and contract administration and plan coordination. Management information system (MIS) databases.

Project Engineer / Field Superintendent, C.D. Moody Construction Company, Lithonia, GA. 1993 - 1994 Estimating, scheduling, contract administration and cost-control of commercial, and renovation projects. Duties included submittals, rfi’s, change orders, progress reports, safety reports and checking shop drawings. Office engineer in joint venture with Beers construction, building Hewlett Packard Headquarters in Alpharetta GA. Other projects included Nation’s Bank and Post Properties townhomes.
