As the Executive Assistant to the Commissioner of the Nevada State Contractors Board my job duties were to maintain her calendar, arrange travel, take and transcribe monthly meeting minutes, respond to contractor complaint letters, filing, coordinate contractor events and miscellaneous office projects.

Employee Events Coordinator/Communication Specialist
I held 2 positions during my 8 years with MGM/Mirage. I was the Communication Specialist for the first 4 years with MGM and was responsible for the writing/editing and publishing the employee monthly magazine/newsletter, employee flyers and posters and all communication to be distributed to employees.
In the remaining 4 years with MGM I held the position of Employee Events Coordinator in which I was responsible for planning and organizing all specail events held for employees of MGM/Mirage such as Christmas Party, Children's Christmas Party, Employee of the Month banquets, Wet n Wild Days, etc.
