Production Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate production efforts by overseeing the manufacturing of heat pressed tortillas.
Lead a team of twenty five associates in the production and packaging of two manufacturing lines to develop tortillas for various customers.
Responsible for the daily update of production lines to plant management, that results in an average of 90 percent efficiency and 5 percent down time within my department.
Plan, coordinate and conduct safety and “good manufacturing practices” training for my team members on a monthly basis at Tyson which led to zero incidents or accidents in my department.

Key Responsibilities:
I Managed personnel issues by providing leadership and administrative support for a headquarters of approximately 60 Soldiers from my command experience during Operation Enduring Freedom. Responsible for a 100 percent completion and on time rate for tasks assigned from our Task Force Brigade and the Division Headquarters. Organized and presented a daily update brief to my commander utilizing Microsoft Office Software that illustrated the accountability of all assigned personnel and ongoing actions to include assigned tasks.
I Managed administrative functions for a Military Police Battalion of over 170 Soldiers. I was responsible for managing the unit’s delinquent evaluation report history which resulted in the collection of 25 out of 35 past due evaluation reports for personnel that was also cross leveled to the unit before our deployment to Afghanistan. I developed a spreadsheet to track the process for the awards system that resulted in 100 percent of all Soldiers receiving their awards on time and before redeployment back to the United States.
I provided operational management to three companies with the coordination, planning, publishing and dissemination of over 200 combat operations orders within that year in Operation Iraqi Freedom. I managed a tactical operation center which provided leadership, logistics, and guidance to three subordinate companies with constant flow of communication and continual development of standard operating procedures.
I provided operational, logistical and administrative leadership to a platoon of over 30 Soldiers that served as a convoy escort and security force preparing for deployment to a combat zone in Iraq. I maintained 100 percent accountability of personnel, sensitive items and equipment during the fifteen month deployment, redeployment and fifteen month stabilization period during my tenure with the company.
