SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE
About 8 years experience as Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management
(EPCM) contractor in instrumentation and control engineering for various oil & gas
projects. Experience includes basic and detail engineering design, project
management and supervision of vendors, sub-contractors, preparation of technical
proposals and estimation for new and modification (re-vamp) projects, equipment
procurement activities, factory acceptance test (FAT) and site acceptance testing
(SAT), construction supervision and supports, hook-up, pre-commissioning,
commissioning and plant initial operation. Involvement with various oil & gas

RESUME OF POSITIONS HELD
1. May 2008 – Present
Instrument Engineer for “GAJAH BARU Project”.
The project owner is Premier Oil Natuna Sea B.V. Indonesia. The project consists of
1 wellhead platforms (WHP) and 1 Central Processing Platform (CPP). The project
value is around USD 400 M.
Job responsibilities :
During bidding stage, preparing bid documents for Gajah Baru Premier Oil, i.e.
Manhours, Material Take Off (MTO), I/O Count, Instrument Index, Datasheet,
Instrument Specification, Technical Clarification, Requisition, etc.
During Engineering stage involve in reviewing and make comment on Engineering
deliverables such as P&ID, data sheet, layout drawing, schematic & loop drawing,
equipment specification, etc.
Create requisition to vendor, Vendor Technical Bid Evaluation and review vendor
technical qualification for various instrument items such as Allocation Gas Metering
Package, Wellhead Control Panel (WHCP), transmitter, control valve, deluge valve,
actuated valve, etc. Also involve in reviewing vendor documents for procurement.
Interface and conduct meeting with other discipline to optimize the design and
manage the scope of work for each discipline.
Attend Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) of Deluge Valve, Actuated Ball Valve, etc.
During the FAT activities are to check all the items are inline with client data sheet,
specification and requirement, also ensuring that all item are working properly and
have no error or defect.
2. November 2007 – May 2008
Instrument Engineer for “North Belut Wellhead Project”.
The project owner is ConocoPhillips Indonesia. The project consists of 2 manifold
wellhead platforms, which are WHP-C & WHP-D.
Job responsibilities :
Assigned as INtools project administrator (using Smart Plant Instrumentation 7.0),
responsible to create all templates for data sheet, loop drawing to be utilized by
INtools user. Generate data sheets, instrument index, I/O list, cable schedule,
trouble shooting loop diagram(TSLD). Also responsible to maintenance the project
INtools data base.
During Engineering stage involve in reviewing and make comment on Engineering
deliverables such as P&ID, data sheet, layout drawing, schematic & loop drawing,
equipment specification, etc.
Create requisition to vendor, Vendor Technical Evaluation and review vendor
technical qualification for various instrument items such as transmitter, control valve,
deluge valve, actuated valve, Wellhead panel, etc. Also involve in reviewing vendor
documents for procurement activities.
Correspondence and involve meeting with client and vendor for all technical issues
pertaining to instrumentation and control find the best solution by consolidating
various inputs and discussion during engineering stage. Also create minutes of
meeting (MoM) and raise technical clarification to vendor to ask vendor clarification.

project consists of 3 manifold wellhead platforms, which are MWPS, MWPN &
WPN2.
Job responsibilities :
During Engineering stage involve in reviewing and make comment on Engineering
deliverables such as P&ID, data sheet, layout drawing, schematic & loop drawing,
equipment specification, etc.
Create requisition to vendor, Vendor Technical Evaluation and review vendor
technical qualification for various instrument items such as transmitter, control valve,
deluge valve, actuated valve, Wellhead panel, etc. Also involve in reviewing vendor
documents for procurement.

Offshore instrument engineer during ho ok up stage. Involve in instrumentation
commissioning & trouble shooting, including wellhead control panel, actuated valve,
control valve and various transmitters (flow, level, temperature, pressure, etc.).
4. January 2005 – April 2005
Electrical & Instrument Engineer for Handil & Peciko Well Connection Project”.
Project at Total E & P Indonesie, East Kalimantan. This small project scope is to
supply and install transmitter, pressure switch, cable and tubing on the new well flow
lines to the existing production facility.
Job responsibilities :
Involve in study and preparing the engineering technical deliverable for the project
management, such as data sheets, material take off (MTO), etc.
Responsible to create and issue technical data sheets for pressure transmitter,
temperature transmitter, pressure gauge, temperature gauge, pressure switch, etc.
Correspondence and discuss with client for the site requirement. Also create and
estimate change order request to client.
Correspondence and discuss with vendor for the instrument type specification as
per client request. Also reviewing vendor documents for procurement activities.
5. October 2004 – January 2005
Electrical & Instrument Engineer for “Senipah Compression Rationalization
and Upgrade of Senipah Condensate Treatment Capacity”.
Project at Total E & P Indonesie, East Kalimantan. This project which is valued USD
3 million is revamping project to activate condensate heater and installation of one
new compressor.
Job responsibilities :
Assigned as field electrical & instrument engineer during the construction and
commissioning stage of project. Activities involve daily site coordination and
supervision work, inspection on instrument delivered, verify installation as per AFC
drawings, review of design changes, resolve instrument issues and coordination with
sub-contactor and owner production team. Monitor and report the status and weekly
& monthly progress of installation to meet the targeted completion date. The main
challenge faced on this project revamping is that it involves a lot of interfacing with
the existing system of the life plant therefore proper coordination and planning work
is required to ensure smooth construction and commissioning of the new facility
without causing any shutdown or process upset on existing facility.
Responsible for the control of technical document, site modification and site mark
up for as built drawing. Carry out field engineering work for all site modifications,
change and additional items as required, and instrument as built drawings. Also
create and estimate change order request.
