Career Summary: A balanced administrative and customer service background working in the fast paced research and development environment. Administrative efforts were in support of manufacturing, non-destructive testing, inspection, and customer service. Challenge and changing priorities are part of the normal work day.

Experience:

(2008 – Present) Self-Employed Certified Woman-Owned California start up: GPR Locators (GPR) Gilroy, CA. a small company providing GPR and NDT services. This venture utilizes GPR technology in conjunction with complimentary NDT and computer processing enhancement techniques. Project applications include bridges, roadway, dam, waste water treatment plants, infrastructure, parking garages, mapping utility substations for renovation, construction sites, and refineries. Using jobsite data collected 3D PowerPoint presentations are created to promote GPR as a nondestructive method of achieving valuable information and provide better customer service. Specialized software used Radan, Surfer 8, EKKO-Mapper, MS OfficePro, and Quickbooks.

(1986 – 2008) Executive Assistant and Field Operations: Schonberg Research Corporation (SRC), Los Altos, CA. SRC was a small company in the business of research and development supporting the manufacture, service, and application of portable linear accelerator technology. Initial duties were typical administrative support to top corporate executives. Additionally, I provided supporting activities in marketing, accounting, purchasing, human resources, public relations, website maintenance and contract file administration. Specific tasks performed included invoicing, shipping, safety, hazardous material reporting, quotation, reports, expense report preparation, government forms, subcontract administration, customer relations, travel, passport and Visa arrangements. Software used included MS Office, Word, WordStar, WordPerfect, PowerPoint, Lotus, Excel, MS Publisher, FrontPage, Outlook, Visio, and Open Systems. Other skills used include multiple phone lines, typing 65 wpm, transcription, and commissioned Notary Public. During the years 2001 through 2008 skills expanded into NDT field operations using VT, PT, MT, RT, and GPR at ASTM standards. My region of operation covered California and Canada.
