PROFILE: Geologist experienced in mapping and assessing the exploitation potential of some of Western Canada’s most prolific oil and gas reservoirs. I have gained over seven years of office and academic experience in the exploration and study of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin, as well as international prospects in New Zealand, Australia, and Germany.
OBJECTIVE: To work as a geologist and become actively involved in drilling conventional and unconventional oil and gas wells.

• Glauconite core study. Compared log signatures to core properties to assist in Upper/Middle/Lower Shorface identification for horizontal drilling.
• Mapped and evaluated Spirit River Channels, created a series of maps, separating channels by coal markers and other regional features.
• Mapped and evaluated deep saline aquifers in the Montney play fairway of NEBC to establish a water source for fracturing operations related to shale gas development.
• Geological support in the study of unconventional shale gas and shale oil potential in the North West Territories.
