CURRENT PROFILE :

I am final year student of full time two years Post Graduate Diploma in Management at Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), Greater Noida.

Being the student of Management with specialization in Sustainable Development Practices, I have studied subjects related to Managing communication & Negotiation, Project Design & Management, Monitoring Evaluation & Audit etc. Since I am doing my internship in monitoring and evaluation assignment therefore it’s imperative for me to enhance capacity and relate my knowledge for the assigned projects.

It is against this background that I got attracted towards this subject. I was on a searching spree to carry on my studies on these lines. I came to know about “Birla Institute of Management Technology” which indulges in the academic study on sustainable development, for the first time in our country. I realized that this is a great attempt to serve the humanity of not only the contemporary world, but also the people who are supposed to live here in the times to come.

Company: Uttarakhand Livelihood Improvement project for the Himalayas l

Project Title: Preparation of local resource (Off-season vegetables) based business plan and report of marketing through cluster level Federation

Description: The goal of this ULIPH project is to improve social and economic conditions of hilly farmers of Uttarakhand . I conducted baseline survey and FGDs in Tehri District to understand their current income level and analyze appropriate interventions to raise their socio-economic condition.

Project Title: Sunhara Walmart Project

Description: The goal of this Walmart funded project is to improve social and economic conditions of female farmers of Agra and Ghaziabad through various interventions. I conducted baseline survey and FGDs in Agra and Ghaziabad to understand their current income level and analyze appropriate interventions to raise their socio-economic condition.

My Assignment:

• Collect information for Monitoring and Evaluation of the project by using semi-structured questionnaire

• Based on the project indicators, output & outcome develop the project monitoring & Evaluation report.

• Understand the working of SHGs in Agra & Ghaziabad district and connect them to the market.

• Develop internship report and make presentation of the assigned project.
