Material Control Duties:

• Responsible for all shipping (inbound and outbound), receiving, packaging, storage, preservation, physical control and internal movement of materials.

• Responsible for maintaining appropriate inventory of shipping materials, considering financial resources available, and schedules of product to be shipped.

• Tasked with the efficient utilization of packaging material and development of efficient methods of packaging.

• Arranged for inbound and outbound domestic shipping of product and coordinated all inbound international shipments. Negotiated rates and maintained common carrier list.
