DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides first aid medical treatment in case of injury or light sickness or carries out 'emergency response, e.g. first aid, transferring employee to hospital or referring to doctor.

Carries out regular checks of the hygiene and cleanliness of the company's accommodation premises.

The service is provided for HLG employees and other staff working at the Base.

Assists in the implementation of an occupational health and illness protection programmed for HLG employees.

In-service education with HSE department

Performs duties in accordance with professional nursing standards and medical procedures.

Work is periodically checked.

Arrange without delay medical assistance unless injury is so minor it can be handled without professional attention.

Render appropriate first aid and CPR until transportation of casualty to further medical care, if necessary.

Discharge treatment without endangering the life or health of the casualty or first aider.

If the injury or illness is related to the workplace then an Injury/Incident report shall be filled out. Send completed form to the Safety Office/HSE Department.

Report any first aid supplies needed to the Person in Charge of the First Aid Station.
