Engineered Fabrics, Rockmart, Georgia --- Manufacturing Engineer
Responsible for developing and implementing efficient manufacturing plans and effective quality control processes for all employees involved in a new product launch (interior cockpit components) for Sikorsky helicopters.
Extensive use of highly technical aerospace blueprints, Identify and confirm tooling and bills of material requirements necessary for the assembly operations team. Directly responsible for the training of all employees involved in the assembly process.
Major Accomplishments,
Although only a “contract” manufacturing engineer, I was selected by the project manager, to lead a group of employees at a two week training course, at the Sikorsky manufacturing facility in Stratford Connecticut.
After only six months of employment (Due to my departments success), I was offered the opportunity to become a full time “permanent” manufacturing supervisor for the company.

Direct front line supervision responsibilities, (a team of 75 employees) managing the “start to completion” build and assembly processes of large, front loader refuse collection vehicles. Oversee all welding and assembly operations.
