A journeymen red seal welder with 10 years experience in the welding industry. Have all CWB structural tickets in SMAW and FCAW, and “B” pressure ticket as well. Also have Confined space training, CSTS, and Harness training.

Professional Experience

Propak, 2011-Present

• built a various types of skids, and cranes rails, and a wide range of other structural packages.

• The Bow Project, 2009-2011

• Structural welder welding columns, and digrid on face of building from ground level to roof of the building. All welds were UT tested. Joint size ranged from 30mm – 125mm depth, and was done in all positions.

• Scottford Expantion Project 2008-2009

• Structural welder welding the Hydrogen Manufacturing Unit. All position welds were done with SMAW except the verticle seams which were done using Metal Core in the downhand position. Welds were tested using mag particle and UT.

• Syncrude Emissions Reduction Project November 2007- July 2008

• Structural welder welding ducting. All welds were done in all position using SMAW. All welds were mag particle and UT tested. Tasks included seal welding compartments, some fitting, and gauging also.

• LJ welding and machine July 2006- October 2007

• Structural welder building various items for shop use like rollers, pipe stands, elbow jigs, welding positioners, and miscellaneous equipment.

• Crossfire Energy Services 2004-2006

• Apprentice welder. Pipefitting for 1 year, and then recieved “C” pressure ticket and did pressure welding on various pipe and vessels for a year. Also ran the shop rig for their various field structural jobs.
