AREA MANAGER
• Directly responsible for all day to day operations inclusive but not limited to coordinating manufacturing, estimating, scheduling, project management, as well as general over-site of division. Estimators, Area Engineer, Project Managers, General Superintendent, Project Superintendents, Asphalt Superintendent, Manufacturing and Quality Control were directly responsible to me. I answered directly to the Vice President of Operations / Estimating.
• Increased completed work activities and production to over twenty (20) million per annum (prior to economic down turn) (highest profits in company history 2007 – 2008)
• Increased production and work ethics amongst all personnel inclusive to office management and field management.
• Created and implemented a re-engineered management team capable of coordinating upgraded work loads while utilizing similar human resources. This was completed in order to streamline two separate divisions and increase productivity through out the region.
• Over see all aspects of business from estimating to final construction inclusive to financial burdens and recovery.
• Successfully managed expanded division to complete in excess of 100 million in revenue during my tenure as well as complete all projects within original duration and budget for all FDOT, County, City and private projects within my territory. Two of the last three FDOT project were completed within BONUS criteria and were submitted for award at the District and State level.
• Successfully implemented formal partnering objectives on all ongoing projects with the Florida Department of Transportation as well as informal partnering charters with several City and local government agencies.
• Successfully mitigated and implemented government and non government contract / plan related discrepancies.
• Successfully estimated and negotiated contracts from 10k to over 20 million through networking and aggressive work efforts.

• Started as a common laborer and worked through the family business to President of the corporation.
