Tractor Trailer Driver

Responsible for the delivery of shipments to retail stores overnight in the areas of Orlando, Melbourne, and Daytona. Use keys and alarm codes to make unassisted deliveries. Use handheld computer to scan shipment, exchange Bill of Lading, secure all doors, and activate alarm. Deliveries are all done within a specified time window. Drive a 53ft tractor trailer and use a pallet jack for all deliveries.

Keg Driver

Responsible for the delivery of beer kegs and cases to restaurants and bars in the Sarasota area. At delivery sites, rotated the beer to ensure fresh product for the customer, changed out kegs for customers who needed, brought back empty kegs to our warehouse, and provided great customer service to all. Used a handheld computer at all stops to print out invoices and complete all transactions. Performed pre-trip inspections on truck. Held two long distant routes with the company, one an hour north of Tampa, the other an hour south of Tampa.

OTR Truck Driver

Responsible for the transportation of fresh cut flowers in refrigerated 53 foot trailer on a dedicated route to Oregon. Also transported general commodities to 48 states including hazardous materials.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

With the combination of education and on the job experience, I have worked with the basic fundamentals and theories of analog electronics. Installed, maintained, and repaired fleet card readers including gas card/fuel man and also ran conduit lines from kiosk to veeder root. Heavy equipment experience including boom trucks, backhoes, and excavators. Worked on scaffolding to erect and repair signs for a fuel company. I have also done some welding on truck frames with a previous employer.
