JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The main responsibilities involve controlling the various processes of Welding to reduce the defects and minimize rework and rejection.

Well conversant with various welding process like MMA Welding, TIG Welding, MIG/MAG Welding, Flux Cored Arc Welding .

Responsible for visual inspection of job in various stages of production as per Standard Inspection plan.(Inspection Test Plan)

Dimension checking of Fixture, Layout and Finished job in the shop as per approved drawing.

Ensuring the Product Quality as per Quality Plan and Inspection Procedure.

Witnessing various Testing Procedures like Hydro test, Ball test, Bend test, Cold Impact test, and Penetrant test.

Welding Inspection of jobs and controlling welding procedure as per the approved WPS.

Maintaining documents like Raw material allocation, Heat treatment details, NDT reports, Dimension reports as per Quality Plan.
