PROJECT MANAGER & CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION
Performed contract administration for a 28,000 SF Emergency Department Addition and a 9,000 SF Central Utility Plant Expansion at Longmont United Hospital. Attended weekly Owner/Contractor construction meetings and was responsible for all CA duties from foundation work through to final punch list and facility activation.
Performed project management for a series of healthcare diagnostic imaging renovation projects, including a new 3,000 SF Interventional Radiology Suite. Directed architectural staff and consulting engineers through full design process and completion of construction document packages. Prepared fee proposal agreements and negotiated project services with Owner, substantially improving the client-architect relationship. Managed work on a Master Site and Facility Plan update and prepared the final report.

Managed a five member team responsible for all procurement and construction coordination for national new store development. Negotiated national account pricing structures and supply chain processes with 30 construction buyout vendors.

• As Chipotle’s first Market CM, formed and managed development teams to open new markets in 5 different states, and directed the development of 48 new stores in a 4 year period.
• Achieved exceptional results with the 13 projects completed in 2001, which were delivered in aggregate at 2.1% below budget, including change orders totaling only 3.4% of initial contract amounts, and within an average of 1 day of projected completion dates. This included 5 projects completed in 7 weeks in 4 different cities.
