As the Environmental Manager/Analyst, I managed the following environmental programs: EPA, DEQ, RCRA, TOMP, NPDES, SPCC, SARA 312/313, etc. My responsibilities included researching and maintaining OSHA compliance, performing safety audits, ergonomic and machine guard evaluations, accident investigations, risk, and hazard assessments for new equipment and chemicals. Acted as liaison between hourly and management employees regarding safety issues. Composed, implemented, and trained employees on safety procedures. Completed regular industrial hygiene monitoring of noise/air and annual Title V assessment. Coordinated audiometric evaluations, maintained MSDS, and launched a successful waste minimization project.

As the Back-Up Environmental Manager, (1991-1993) I reorganized and updated MSDS throughout the facility. Operated and maintained the waste water treatment plant. Responsible for Industrial Hygiene (noise, air and respirators), weekly safety inspections, and laboratory analyses. Established a Safety Committee and the first Recycling Committee. As a contracted employee, (1994-1995) I was responsible for performing the industrial hygiene to determine plant-wide noise levels and air contaminant levels, as well as the laboratory analyses that were periodically performed to maintain the NPDES permit.
