I am a strategic, forward-thinking Sales/Marketing Professional, utilizing consultative selling/decision driven techniques to achieve desired results. In addition to transformer Sales and Business Development experience I have familiarity with all types of Lighting/LED products, PLC’s, SCADA/RTU and DCS/Automation Control Systems, Temperature/Measurement/Infrared Control products and systems. Accounts included: Utility, Industrial/Commercial, OEM’s, Electrical Distributors, Contractors and EPC firms as well as, Mfr. Rep. and Engineering firms. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2009 to 5/2010: VIRGINIA TRANSFORMER Roanoke, VA

Area Utility Sales/Business Development Manager

Direct account responsibility for Ohio, Michigan, Indiana. I assisted/directed the 5 rep firms in securing NEW quotes for projects within their areas. I traveled with each rep firm, depending on activity level, at least once a quarter. I set quote goals for each rep firm and salesperson. I re-vamped the Product Brochure. Product range was 300kva to 100mva @ 230kv liquid filled transformer and 300kva to

15mva dry units. F/y 2009 quota was $6 million; did $8.5 million. Sales responsibility estimated at $22 million, 2010. In my additional capacity, I handled five manufacturer rep. firms and approx. 10 distributors for a 12 state area. Major accounts included Kansas City Power/Light, Ameren, Entergy, First Energy and Duke Energy.

2007 to 2009: PAUWELS TRANSFORMERS, INC. Washington, MO

Central Regional VP/Business Development Manager

Overall scope included 15 States, 8 Manufacturer’s Representative firms,16 distributors with multiple State/Office locations as well as Renewable Energy Accounts in this area. Travel was based on activity level and rep. firm number of salespeople. I defined quota goals for each quarter/rep. firm.

Products Include: Distribution transformers rated 45KVA to 10MVA, 10-60MVA Medium Power Units. Additional products included: Large Power from 60MVA to 750MVA as well. Station Class Arresters, DCS/Automation/SCADA Controls. F/y 2008 quota $18.5 million did $26 million. My yearly dollar responsibility was ~$30 million in 2009. Travel approx. 70%. Customers: Utility and Industrial, Comed/Exelon, Entergy, Ameren-St. Louis, MDU, GRE.

2004 to 2007: WEISS INSTRUMENT, INC. Pittsburgh, PA

I penetrated GE Glass production facilities (16) in Ohio with Infrared Control/Measurement Systems. I grew the business in territory from approx $350k to $835k/per year. Primary Markets include -Electric Utilities and Co-ops, Water, Wastewater Treatment plants, Industrials, OEM’s, end users, as well as engineering firms. Main Companies/Products in addition to Infrared: Industrial/Distributive Control Systems, Omniverter Voltage Correction Systems, APC-American Power Corp.
