Job Description: * The primary duties with Mediquest (DME)/Feetplus are to facilitate 7 of 9

FeetPlus locations in north and northeast Oklahoma, by evaluating and fitting

patient with orthosis, diabetic and non-diabetic shoes and inserts.

* The primary duties with the Oklahoma City VA were fitting US Military

Veteran’s with custom and non-custom orthotics, diabetic shoes, heat

Moldable, custom inserts, and modified devices.

* The primary duties in the Independent Clinical Setting were fitting patients

referred by 7 orthopedist and 5 physician assistants at Southwest

Orthopedics and OCOM (Oklahoma City Orthopedic Medicine)

The fitting of off-the-shelf bracing

The fitting of semi-custom, custom bracing, as well as casting for custom TLSO’s

BFO and AFO made from casts, foam Impressions, Plaster Paris, Amfit Cad Cam System, etc…..

Assist patients with bracing needs, measurements for custom/non-custom diabetic shoes and inserts

Measurements and fittings of custom/non-custom compression hose

Train and respond to patient questions, issues and concerns regarding bracing needs and mod’s

Working closely with physicians, podiatrist, orthopedists, physical therapist and other office staff

On-call after hours one week per month

Qualifications:

8 plus years experience in dealing with patients and in independent clinical setting

5 years of experience in inventory and as O&P purchasing agent

Demonstrates the ability to work in high-pressure, high-patient and high-volume environment

(80 - 90 plus patients in 4 days per week) while consistently delivering excellent customer service and processing insurance paperwork and coding

Exhibit a positive attitude, leadership, initiative, and an independent work ethic
