I perform many day to day duties which include but are not limited to billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, posting of employee time, reconciling daily WIP and accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, I also prepare month end and year end financial reports. I am responsible for updating all computer software. During tax season I prepare individual income tax returns, correspond with IRS and MDOR on behalf of our clients and e-file tax returns. I also prepare LLC Annual Reports. I maintain strict confidentiality in handling of all client correspondence and personal information. I am responsible for record management and I keep strict records. Some other duties I perform are operating a ten line phone system, typing, filing, purchasing of office supplies, schedule meetings and conference calls. I had the responsibility of processing payroll for 250+ corporate staff employees from all across the United States on a weekly basis. I answered any and all questions posed by the employees with regards to their vacation, sick and holiday accruals. I also processed W-4’s direct deposits and W2-C’s. I was also responsibly for weekly spread adjustments, weekly discount adjustments and monthly pro-rated adjustments for the gross profit report. I would enter new hires in the system and process terminations. I would also complete employment verifications and process unemployment audits when time would permit.

This temporary position consisted of daily collection of all check run bills in my division, matching invoices, general ledger entries, balancing of the books, preparing lotus and excel spreadsheet and I was responsible for releasing millions of dollars in checks on a daily basis.
Assistant Buyer - Shaw’s Supermarket Corporate Office
While substituting in this position I had several day to day responsibilities such as direct contact with 100+ vendors, creating purchase orders, pushing purchase orders in or out, handling back orders and hot list items, pricing adjustments and inventory control. This position required strict record keeping of the date, times and quantities of every delivered product in my division. I was also responsible for generating daily, weekly and monthly sales reports.
